      Contest entry for :iconhetalia-underworld: (theme: "Bloody Valentines Contest")
      Wow, it's my sixth contest which I participate.

    Well, I think it's hard to distinguish who is the character without his scarf, but he is the Ivan, my dears (:iconrussiablushplz: Exactly, this guy).

    One of the thing which mademoiselle ~Silvia-x-Gaara (the founder of group) is looking for is: "How you view Valentine's Day? Happy, Sad, Gorey, Stupid, etc."
    Very well, I have to confess. Personally I don't see Valentine's Day as BLOODY, but as the title of the group content contains "UnderWorld", deserved a worthy entry. So, first I started to choose a character (Ivan), and after I tried to think like him, capturing his emotions to finally could draw.


    ... In the end!


      The result:

      Although he is looking for some warm affection a caring, everybody fears him, move away from him. And he don’t understand why.
      Thereon, his feelings – sadness, angry, incomprehension, loneliness, anguish… - are mixed disorderly and aggressively. Let’s suppose even he still feeling confused, he’ll meet with one of the people whom he likes, to get satisfactions.
      But rather than being able to find an answer, by the angry of the moment, he innocently and impulsively killed him.

      He hadn’t the slightest intention, he wouldn’t like to kill him.

      The only thing remains it’s the gentle warmth of the heart which is pulsing on his hand.

      How Ivan had the hole in his chest, you can think he is committing a self-cannibalism , but he isn’t (everybody knows his heart ‘drops’ sometimes). And the act he being about to nibble the freshly plucked heart is the desperate way to try to feel, absorb some feeling of affection of the person he killed, before the heart dies as well (if you don’t know, even after the heart be torn out it still pulse, but only for a while).

    Pois bem mais um contest...!
    Não posso negar a uma que envolve coisas dark. Ademais, estava com vontade.
    O tema era "Bloody Valentines". Uma das propostas pela fundadora do grupo e avaliadora do concurso era de expressar como nós achamos o dia de St. Valentine. Antes de mais nada, deixe-me exclarecer que eu não acho este dia SANGRENTO como expressei neste desenho.
    Mas sim, pensei neste dia baseando nos pensamentos do Ivan.

      Então, o que eu pensei:
      Apesar de ele procurar por algum caloroso afeto ou um carinho, todo mundo o teme, distanciando-se. E ele não entende o porquê.
      Nisso, os sentimentos dele – tristeza, raiva, incompreensão, solidão, angústia... - misturam-se desordenadamente e de forma agressiva e conturbada. Suponhamos que, mesmo ainda muito confuso, ele vá encontrar com uma das pessoas as quais ele aprecia para tirar satisfações.
      Mas ao invés de conseguir achar uma resposta, por tanta raiva do momento, ele inocente e impulsivamente acaba matando-a.
      Ele não teve uma mínima intenção, não quis matá-la.
      A única coisa que restou é o calor terno do coração que está pulsando na mão dele.

      Como tem um buraco no meio do peito do Ivan, pode achar que ele está cometendo auto-canibalismo, mas não é (todo mundo sabe que o coração dele sempre ‘cai’). E o ato dele estar prestes a mordiscar o coração recém-arrancado é uma forma desesperadora de tentar sentir, absorver algum sentimento de ‘afeto’ da pessoa que ele matou, antes que o coração também acabe morrendo – sabe-se que o coração ainda pulsa mesmo depois de ser arrancado, mas só por alguns instantes.


    Hmm... bizarro. Minhas ideias conceituais estão ficando cada vez mais profundo.
    Mas por isso que adoro o Ivan. É um rapaz com um carisma e rico em torno de personalidade. Se o desenvolvesse corretamente, que personagem seria...
